Free printable paper
Paper we drew for ourselves and had no reason to charge for. Every sheet is vector, measured to the real paper standards, and free to download without handing over an email address. Each pack also ships e-ink editions sized to the exact shape of a tablet screen, so the page fills the display instead of sitting inside grey bars.
Printing paper at true size
This is the one thing that goes wrong. Browsers and most PDF viewers default to “fit to page”, which shrinks the sheet by roughly 4% to clear the printer’s non-printing margin. Every ruling then comes out slightly too small, which matters if you are matching an existing notebook. Turn scaling off:
- macOS Preview
- Set Scale to 100%. Do not use "Scale to Fit".
- Adobe Acrobat
- Under Page Sizing & Handling, choose "Actual size".
- Chrome / Edge
- Open "More settings", then set Scale to Default (or Custom 100).
- Windows / Photos
- Turn "Fit picture to frame" off before printing.
To check it worked, measure ten lines of college-ruled paper: they should span 71.4 mm, or just under 2 and 13/16 inches.
